Product Details

Hot Creek in Winter #3 metal print by Joe Doherty.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

About Joe Doherty

Joe Doherty

I began making photographs when I was 13 years old. I created a darkroom using a slide projector, some old food trays, and chemicals and paper my brother liberated from the neighbor's trash. 10 years later I was published in Time Magazine, and 10 years after that I was in graduate school studying political science. After more than 20 years studying, working, and teaching at UCLA I returned to my first love -- photography. Where the commercial work of my youth was mostly personalities (think 1980s television shows) I have always been drawn to landscapes, which are now my primary artistic focus.
